Experience
I started to truly pursue my passion for Acting at the start of Year 12. Here is when I was tasked to do my first duologue within the first few weeks of year 12. This was critical in my journey because I had never done anything like it. Finding the script, rehearsing and then performing it in front of the camera was something completely new.
Towards the end of year 12, we were luckily given the chance to audition for an agency and we of course had to take advantage of the opportunity. I created my own original monologue and then performed it in front of the other auditees and the head of the agency. Fortunately, I was accepted into the agency. This meant I was also on spotlight.

A few months into year 13, I was just casually sending back self tapes I was requested to do by my agent and to my surprise, I got the job. The Job was a short film about Asian arranged marriage and Asian LGBTQ men. The film was being directed by a BAFTA winning director and it took place over a few days in London. I played a character called Abz, who was the new apprentice working in the restaurant.
As a part of the course, in Year 12 we had to make a four-episode mockumentary series called, 'Only in Brum'. We all had to craft scripts and mine was fortunately chosen as one of the ones to make. I also starred as the main character and directed the entire episode as well. The episode was about a teen who thinks he is a superhero as him and his best friend/sidekick, try to join the greatest superhero group in the world.
